clubs(Grades 2-5)

At PS 282, we value student voice. One of the methods we use to empower kids is through self-selected clubs. Together with students and staff, clubs are developed and students in grades 2-5 review club offerings and request their top 3 clubs of interest. Clubs are so essential in not only elevating students' voices, but also in continuing to build community across classes and grades. Clubs generally have two cycles across the year, so students have the opportunity to experience different teachers and students throughout the year. We are proud to offer students interest-specific clubs which build competence and confidence which students bring with them into their academic classes.
