Tour Schedule

Thank you so much for your interest in touring PS 282! We can’t wait to show you around.

We have one or two tours every month. Please RSVP for tours! It helps us make sure there are enough volunteers to give great tours and that you get the information you need.  To schedule a tour please click here.

Elementary School

Explore your elementary school options. Applying to kindergarten? You can apply over-the-phone, online, or in-person.

Pre-Kindergarten

Find out more about pre-k programs available in public schools and community-based organizations.

Kindergarten

Most students attend kindergarten at their zoned school. Other elementary school options are also available.

Gifted & Talented

The G&T Request for Testing period usually begins in October for the following year. Please check the Department of Education NYC website for specific details.

Families may submit a Request for Testing (RFT) form   online or in person at an Enrollment Office or public school .
