Here are some things to know...
1.
TOUR PROSPECTIVE SCHOOLS
School tours are great tools to determine whether a school is right for you. PS 282 hosts general school tours throughout the academic year. For further questions about school tours, please reach out to the PTO VP of Outreach (outreach@282parkslope.org) or Parent Coordinator, Ms. Collie-Cyrus (scollie2@schools.nyc.gov) for additional info.
2.
RANK 282 AS YOUR FIRST CHOICE/RECEIVE PLACEMENT
Once you have toured and ranked 282 as your school of choice, you will receive a letter of placement from the Department of Education. If you are on the waiting list for 282 and PS282 is your top school of choice, email Parent Coordinator, Ms. Collie-Cyrus to determine how you can gain entry to the school, if possible.
3.
REGISTER
Once you have received a seat at PS282, congratulations!! Register as soon as possible to confirm your placement. All registration questions may also be directed to our Parent Coordinator, Ms. Collie-Cyrus.
The PTO typically hosts summer meet ups and other meet and greets for parents as you transition into 282. Please visit our calendar, we look forward to meeting you soon!
