Students must arrive at school no later than 8:10 a.m.

​Students will report to their designated arrival spaces and teachers will pick them up daily.

Students who are late will be escorted to class by a staff member. To ensure the safety of everyone, students are not permitted in the building before this time.

BREAKFAST ARRIVAL
Students arriving at school for breakfast, which is served from 7:40 a.m. to 8:10 a.m., will enter the school through the main entrance and wait until school personnel is downstairs before going to breakfast.
Students will NOT be permitted in the building prior to 7:40 a.m.

REGULAR ARRIVAL
For students not participating in breakfast, they should arrive at school by 8:10 a.m. Please see a.m. arrival, p.m. dismissal and location below.

For inclement weather students in grades K through 2nd will go directly to the auditorium, while students in grades 3rd through 5th will go directly to the gymnasium.
Pre K students will enter as normal.

NO PARENTS ARE PERMITTED TO ENTER THE AUDITORIUM OR GYMNASIUM.

LATE ARRIVAL
Students who are not in their first period seats at 8:10 a.m. are late. If your child is late to school, please inform School Safety that you are late. Students in the lower grades will be escorted to class by a DOE staff member. This period is a very busy time of day. Since the disruptions can upset normal routines and learning of all students, it is important that you help your child be on time each day. Establishing good attendance habits right from the start is very helpful.

Arrival: 8:10 a.m.
Dismissal: 2:30 p.m.
Location: Pre K Entrance, down the ramp on Berkeley Place.

Kindergarten
Arrival 8:10 a.m.
Dismissal 2:30 p.m.
Location: Kindergarten students will assemble through the main gate of the school entrance. (180 6th Avenue). Please be advised that, parents will not permitted in the gate; due to COVID 19 social distancing purposes.

Grades 1 & 2
Arrival: 8:10 a.m.
Dismissal: 2:30 p.m.
Location: convene in the big yard off Berkeley Place (Green Turf)

Grades 3,4 & 5
Arrival: 8:10 a.m. Basketball Court

Grade 3 & 4
Location for Dismissal: 2:30 p.m. Exit D/E located in the back of the school closest to the basketball court on Lincoln

Grade 5
Location for Dismissal: 2:30 p.m. Exit first door on Lincoln, labeled Park Slope School, Public School 282
