Wednesday December 11th is our December PTO Meeting. The meeting will go from 6pm to 8pm and be held in the auditorium. Councilperson Brad Lander will be our special guest! Please make every effort to attend!
SCHOOL LUNCH FORM: Every family with a child in a NYC public school (even if your child brings in lunch) has to fill out a School Lunch Form here or you may obtain and submit a paper application in room 117. This form helps determine how much federal funding our school receives. PS/MS 282 must have its forms in to the DOE by DECEMBER 20th -- note this due date has been extended. Even if you know your family will not qualify for Free or Reduced Lunch ("FRL"), it is CRUCIAL you submit a form nonetheless, either on-line or in paper. Please help us get 100% forms returned. If families have questions please contact, Maritza Coretz, family assistant, 718-622-1626 ext. 0.
The PTO 2013-2014 Annual Appeal is in full swing. Money raised in the Annual Appeal is used to fund critical classroom and student enrichments, as well as to defray budget shortfalls from on-going cuts. A suggested donation from the PTO is $10 per school month -- $100 year, but the more important goal is participation by all regardless of amount. For more information, please visit the PTO Annual Appeal Page.
LAST CHANCE FOR LOST &
FOUND: All items remaining in Lost
